How are my favourite peeps doing today? Enjoying the shorter work week??

Today was a good day at our camp. We pulled out the green screen so I could do an intro video for a client’s website.

While I was getting ready, Painter snagged my makeup sponge and ran. He ran out on the patio with it and he wouldn’t give it back! SO- I shut the patio door so he could think about what’s he’s done!

He didn’t care though, he starred on at me while he chewed up the sponge…..so I let him back in. I need the Dog Whisperer….and a new sponge :p

Painter was mostly good while we worked….even though it’s a family business and he is NOT holding up his duties.

Brat. Cute.

The shoot went fairly quick and painless. I couldn’t do it without this man!! He does it all!! (heart him)

On Thanksgiving I bought a rose because the line ups were so deep with people buying last minute things that I snagged a rose so I could buy my stuff in the flower shop, I wanted to show Mike how much I love and appreciate him.

“A rose by any other name would smell as sweet”

When I got a massage last week, the masseuse gave me this sheet with stretches to do at home. I took a look at it and thought, “Or I could just do yoga?”

stretch or do yoga?

And that is why my friends, tomorrow I am starting a 30 day HOT yoga CHALLENGE!!! This is becoming an annual thing. I decided to amp it up this year and make it hot.. OW OW

When you feel yourself getting too comfortable, I believe it’s a good time to shake things up, get out of your comfort zone and grow as a person!

What can you do to shake up your routine a bit?

If you need any support, I am here for you!

See you on the yoga mat…(sweating up a storm)

Hey Lady! Been reading your blog for at least a couple of months now (can’t recall how I found you) and I absolutely love it, particularly your love of yoga that we both seem to share. I’m also a fan of the raw diet blogs but am a bit envious because I can’t eat any uncooked, fresh fruit or vegetables, with the exception of tomatoes, lettuce and that’s it. Otherwise it has to be cooked. :( I’ve just developed this allergy and sensitivity to foods in the past 2 years when I had a bvad reaction to trying lychee for the first time. My lip swelled so much that I just about had my lip explode. So now I carry a dang epipen everywhere with me just in case.
Another thing we share is that we are fellow Canadians however you hail from the west and I’m further east than you, out in Ontario, just north of Toronto.

Anyways, I just wanted to leave a comment since I’ve been reading your blog daily and I feel slightly stalker-esque. Oh and I wanted to emphasize and underline and bold that Painter is oh-so-adorable and I can totally understand how he gets away with murder – just look at that sweet little face. Little bugger though, eh? I remember the puppy days. How I’d love another, only we’d need to move from condo to house.

Anyways, nice to meet you, officially I guess and keep up the blogging. I, and many others, enjoy what you write. The stuff I post on mine is boring as all hell because I always forget what I want to write or just totally blank out.

BTW, I like the idea of giving your partner a rose to show him how much he means to you. I’ve toyed with giving my hubby one for a long time but didn’t know if he’d think it was silly or cheesy.

Oh and another thing we share: camping. Love it love it love it. My idea of camping almost 10 years ago was going with a bunch of girls and bringing blow dryers and curling irons. When I met my hubby to be in 2002, he took me interior camping in Algonquin Park and I’ve loved it ever since. Just wait til you take Painter with you, he’ll LOVE IT. I know my Bichons love getting dirty and digging up a storm or just laying back in the sun in their own camp chairs. (They’re not spoiled or anything lol)

That is too funny! My dog would do the same thing!

Glad the shoot went well without the sponge ;)

BTW – I took your advice and have been rambling into a journal each day. I think it is really helping clear my mind. I never thought that would help.
