  • Hello!

Happy Friday! Happy life! Happy everyday!

The last couple days I have been confined to my little make-shift studio, as well as taking some extremely beneficial and inspiring classes.

I’ve been working on the usual, phone systems, e-learning, narrations, etc….

Then…. I got inspired to write a podcast for’s weekly podcast called, “Voice Over Experts”. I’m not sure if I am considered an “expert” yet, lol….but I have a good idea and I want to write and record a podcast for “The industry’s most downloaded podcast”. See, on the left there I started my lil bullet points…. I’ll let you know if it all works out.

Another thing I am working on is memorizing this script for a hosting gig I am doing for a friend who is starting up a business. We are shooting tomorrow, so I need some beauty sleep tonight!!!!

I also need to wash my makeup brushes! I haven’t washed them since before the wedding.

    Well, they came in handy…

So ya, I need to wash them brushes!

The place we’re staying at is flooded with cool artwork, quotes and trinkets. The lady who owns this place is definitely a creative woman!

Sometimes I just don’t feeeeeeel creative, so I came up with a new game to keep me on my toes. Say you are walking down the street, at an event, or wherever you and your camera may take you, Out of no where -you are going to STOP. WHen it comes to you, just STOP….then look around you and make yourself take a picture of SOMETHING, ANYTHING….

I started my game today and here is my first picture while playing my new game…. I STOPPED AND I spotted with my little eye- an aloe vera plant. I told Mike (if he ever remembers) to tell me to stop out of the blue and then I have to find something to shoot. Fun or fun? I say fun.

There was no game involved in this shot. These peeps are already waiting for next Christmas? Only in LA… lol

Ahhh yes, our daily trip to the park.. Painter’s Disneyland! He met some cool new friends today.

Then he resorted to get incredibly sandy and we had to hose him down before heading home.

Any big plans for the weekend? Whatever you decide to partake in.. I hope you have a wonderful time!

    We’ll be in touch….xoxo

  • Hello!!!

Today Mike and I were working with the lovely Eden from I took the 4 week Feed Life, Starve Cancer series with Eden a couple months back and it was one of the most informative workshops I’ve ever had the privilege to attend.

Now Eden is whipping up some exciting stuff that she is launching next year. Mike and I were helping out behind the scenes. It’s really fun to be a part of such positive energy.

Below here we have a Starve Cancer Elixir that consists of Green Tea, Organic Blueberries and Ginger.

Going to add even more of this stuff into my diet in the new year!

Have you thought about your resolutions? I actually need to get through my wedding first and then I can sit down and write out my resolutions. It’s one of my favourite things to do. A brand new year full of pure potential is pretty exciting, no matter where you are with your goals.

Ohhh, I just looked at my last years resolutions!! I must say it went pretty good. I didn’t get to complete a lot of the athletic endeavours because of my damn foot injury, but I am still very happy with the way this year has played out.

Last NYE, I got engaged and I’m rounding out the year by tying the knot this NYE.

    Here’s a pic from Jan.1 2011

I wrote this one year ago- but I’m going to paste it again:

What are your resolutions? I would love to hear what your goals are for this year!! DO SHARE!!

Don’t be afraid to dream big. YES, we don’t want to set ourselves up for failure, however:

Dreamers are the saviors of the world.
Right? And goals are just dreams with deadlines. I don’t always hit my goals at the time I set for that particular goal, however I keep pushing on, because I feel that the person I become in pursuit of my dreams is just as important as achieving the dreams themselves. Shoot for the moon and ya might land among the stars….

    Here’s to 2011! 2012!

    I believe in you!

  • Hello!

WOAH…Dec.19 already? Say What?? Can’t believe we leave this weekend already, on our trek to Saskatoon, off to the wedding chapel.

Ahh, during these festive days I recall our family Christmas in New Orleans. It was such a riot.

Mike and I have STRONG daiquiri’s in hand. Mississippi River behind us. This was Christmas day.

    On Bourbon Street, Peace Y’all.

We went to a midnight mass at the amazing New Orleans Cathedral.

This Christmas Day Mike and I will in the truck on our way to Saskatchewan. Stopping in Revelstoke one night, then Banff one night. So Christmas isn’t really going on for us this year. But NYE will definitely make up for it.

Sooooo, today was the first day “off”  green smoothie cleanse. Funny thing was, when I woke up- the first thing I “had to have” was a green smoothie. I was like, “YES!” this is good!!

    Greens for the Vitamix

I later on had tomato soup, raw veggies, an organic sweet potato muffin thing that Mike brought home from a video shoot he was on today and I some honey nut cereal that had been staring me in the face for 2 weeks.

My goal is to stay raw (I wasn’t 100% raw today) BUT, I am going to stay as close to raw as possible for the days and weeks to come. (We’ll see how it goes down during the wedding and what not). But I plan on 2012 being a mainly raw year.

Ohh and speaking of exciting things, here I am..getting packed up for the wedding and the adventure after the wedding!!!!

I am bringing some stuff from my “organic” drawer. Cacao nibs, Mulberries, Goji berries, Sprouted buckwheat, Green Tea, Pumpkin seeds, and Tumeric. I will add in the nuts from the fridge right before we go.

    nativas Mulberry Power
I went to the gym again today and had a great workout. 25 min on the eliptical and about 25 minutes weight training. Best workout i’ve had in a while. I was given’er!

I’m going to go down to the storage locker now and pull some stuff. I’ll be chatting with you tomorrow. Same time, same place! Keep on rocking in the festive world! xoxo

  • Howdie!

Today was my last full Sunday in Vancouver for about 3 months! (we are going away, details coming soon;) So today, Mike played hockey and I walked the 10km around the seawall with a friend and the puppy. It was such a nice day.

I had such a feeling of pride and accomplishment. I finished 14 days on a Green Smoothie Cleanse. I want to do a video update and share the benefits, etc of my journey. I will make one soon (I am just too tired today!)

So grateful for my Vitamix! I am going to continue on with the Smoothies, but I think I will add in fresh fruits and veggies, salads, throughout the day and maybe 2 smoothies..

After my walk we met up with a friend at the dog park. Painter LOVES his buddy Rose. They are buds and Rose actually got mad and snippy at another dog when it was picking on Painter. I absolutely love watching them play together. rose runs so fast and Painter yips while he’s chasing her because he’s mad he can’t catch her. Cute!

Tonight I will go over my list of to-dos for the wedding and get ready for the week.

Mike found this hilarious picture of a big dog that looks like a super-sized version of Painter. haha

Well, let’s get ready for an awesome week. I auditioned for a big job last week. I just KNOW they are going to be calling me in the morning, I can just feel it! ;)

Lots of joy, prosperity and abundance to YOU!

  • Hey there!

Last day of November…. Then it’s the month I will be married in….eek. Oh ya, Christmas too.

Today I basically voiced all day.

Here is my blooper reel from just today….

Audio clip: Adobe Flash Player (version 9 or above) is required to play this audio clip. Download the latest version here. You also need to have JavaScript enabled in your browser.

haha. Welcome to my world! lol Sometimes I am unstoppable and rock the mic like no ones business but once you start getting tired, the bloops come falling out.

Look at this little cone head. I call him my ice cream in the cone. He is too cute. I wish he didn’t have to wear the darn cone…

We took him for a walk today without the cone. He didn’t reach back for his stitches once. Here is Mike telling Painter he needs to walk nice.

It sure was a beautiful day.

I’m so glad I got out to appreciate some MN (mother nature)

    Port Moody train tracks.

Mike went to the bank and to run some errands and he surprised me with these pretty flowers when he got home. He must be getting excited to marry me!!

Goodness me…Well, I am going to take Painters cone off for a bit and supervise him to make sure he doesn’t have at his stitches. Then off to bed..

    Lots of love and brightness!
