  • Hello!!

Ok, by tomorrow, things should be back to “normal” around here…. As far as- back to a schedule, back to as much raw foods as possible and back to WORK! I need to WORK!

But as for right now.. We are in VEGAS baby! Having a great time. Even Painter has adopted the “What happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas” quote.. Mike and I went out walking today and when we came back to our hotel.. Painter had gotten into a box of my organic green tea and a box of *gulp* maxi pads!!! He totally trashed the room, ha! It was my fault for leaving them out.

We got here EARLY, early this morning. (At like 4am) We drove from Billings, Montana. I must say- Billings wasn’t anything I would run back to, but OMG we had the best breakfast EVER at a restaurant called Stella’s.

Best shot I could get to show you, but it was such a great lil place.

They even freshly pressed their OJ on the spot.

    Stella's Billings, oj

Then we tore out of Billings and hit the road. Here is some Montana terrain. Quite beautiful.

We ended up driving through 5 states in total yesterday. Montana, Idaho, Utah, Arizona and Nevada! It was HELLA long and tedious, but we knew we had to get this big drive done with.

By 4am, we rolled into this place…

Umm, on my “honeymoon” I can’t say no to Margaritaville….

We did some walking around today.

    Bellagi- OH!

Now we just got showered up and are ready to hit the town. We ‘might’ end up at Cirque du Soile tonight. We’ll see how many beer I have and how much I forget about any sort of a ‘budget’. (just kidding, I think it would be amazing to see The Beatles LOVE cirque show… We’ll see..

Hope you are doing amazing. As always, thanks for stopping by. I’ll be back to green shakes and yoga poses by Monday- PROMISE! xoxoxo

  • Hello!

I’ve been feeling a bit nostalgic of “back in the day”. Anyone else remember those carefree days? The most important things to me “back then” were:

-how much tip money I made so I could blow it on clothes and beer

-where my next “gig” was and what I was going to wear

    -where’s the party tonight?

Here is a picture of me and my friend Marq. Us on stage a while back;)

Now I’m still not “Mrs. Responsibility” (Mike pays the bills, takes care of accounting, benefits, rent, etc) I’m kinda still a kid in that aspect… However the “Now me” thinks about things like:

-how much money I earn and where we can invest it

-how can I set up passive income streams so I can achieve financial freedom

-my kitchen is to small, we need a bigger kitchen so I can cook more

DID I REALLY JUST SAY THAT??! YUP… The “Now Me” in our SUV.

I wouldn’t change anything though. I’m super happy and grateful with how my life is going. Ya just can’t help but miss “the good ‘ol days” sometimes;)

Let’s go back to yesterday, but by “yesterday’ I mean feb.5… It was a nice morning and I took a few pictures as we walked to Tim’s and got our Saturday coffee.

Mike sitting on a bench, with the construction zone behind him…

Our apartment (view from the beach)

beach towers, beach ave, 1600 beach ave

pretty lil flowers still grow in the winter here

I went whale watching, OMG- I SAW A TALE!!! woo hoo

    whale tale, carved, wood,

Fast forward to today. LIKE NOW… I just went for a run in the pouring rain with my club, went for a quick swim and am now drinking this

Healthy goodness to counterbalance the beer and goodies I’ll be having at the Superbowl gathering we are going to;)

But first- I need to voice 35 pages for my new job.  I will leave you with this video..

Hearts and kisses and love and butterflies! Have an awesome footbally afternoon!

  • I would say GOOOOOD Morning…But it’s the evening! So good evennnninggg! lol

The joys of giving yourself a day off! I slept in until 9am. Mike and I went straight down to our fitness room to get in my 75 minute bike ride. Bam- done. Then we came upstairs and I said the phrase “Feb.5th” into the microphone. I voiced a commercial last year for a health fair in California. They still loved the commercial and all I had to do was change the date.
Have a listen! Can you tell that we just edited in “Feb.5th”?

You can kinda tell. No biggie though..Mike and I were floored at how much we’ve improved, even in one year. Persistence and dedication is a wonderful thing.

So we sent that off, went for a big walk around the seawall. Rain was in the forecast, but I had my Stormtech jacket to keep me dry. I don’t know why- but I don’t like umbrella’s. They bug me.

Especially walking down a busy street like Robson and everyone has an umbrella- you pretty much have to wear safety goggles to make sure you don’t get your eyes poked out.

Of course, I still own a couple of them- living in Vancouver- but only really use an umbrella if I am walking to a meeting or gathering where I just spent an hour+ on hair and makeup. Walking the seawall- a rain jacket is all I need! Yes we got wet- but it’s all good. A quote I like…

We then went to our favorite greek restaurant Stepho’s, Mike found $10 on the sidewalk!! woot woot!
Now it’s time for the HOT TUB!! ahhh…
I will leave this post with a video of Mike and I singing at my brother Cory’s wedding, right after him and his wife Donnelly said I DO and were walking out. I was trying not to cry as I sang away… Mike and I performed one of OUR favorite song in the world. “Higher” by Jackie Wilson

See us in the back corner there?? ;) That song is going to be the 2nd song at our wedding! We are still deciding the first……..

Ok- hot tub now…Mike is waiting!

    Talk soooooooooooooooooooooooon

    xoxooxoxooxoxocxopfhawgouqrhe[ovhoxpoxoxoxoxoxooxoxox haha

    Hugs, kisses and craziness!
