Hey!!

Wazzzz uppp? Bizzzzzy day here! It is 3pm and besides my Green Shake, right now has been my first chance to eat something! I am eating Amy’s Organic Alphabet Soup with added veggies, (I am repenting for my overindulging last week;)

Today I have had a few different projects on the go, including this phone system

See, on the left is what I have to name the individual voice file, and on the right is the phrase I speak.
So each file is sent separately. Today I only had 76 files, sometimes it’s hundreds.
Here a sample of one

Audio clip: Adobe Flash Player (version 9 or above) is required to play this audio clip. Download the latest version here. You also need to have JavaScript enabled in your browser.

Then they integrate it into a phone system and Voila!

So in regards to the title of this post- NO I am not married, but I feel like I’m in grade 9 when I say “boyfriend”, I am so DONE with that word! lol, hint, hint…
I got a text from my hopefully future husband, who is out on the rigs right now and he said he put his burritos (i made him) in the microwave and all the rig guys were like- “dude, that smells good, where’d you get that?” OMG, that made my day… I did good in the kitchen?? I am turning into a domesticated, but still independent woman. When I was younger I used to say to myself, “I will never cook for anyone.” BUT….things change. When you love someone so much, you want to make them happy…right? And seriously ladies, making my future husband lunch, makes him HAPPY!

Here is what I made..soooo not fancy, but I could make a stack of them and keep in the freezer, so all he has to do it toss it in the microwave at lunch time.

Sorta Ghetto, But Filling Chicken and Rice Burritos

Grab some Tortillas and cut up some red pepper

Cook up some chicken breasts and make some whole grain brown rice and add in Black Beans

Put the bean rice, chicken, red peppers and some salsa on the tortilla

Roll em up in a paper towel, and then saran wrap, so your husband can just take off the saran wrap and place in microwave

BAM… NOW YOUR A HERO!

I am a newly self proclaimed domesticated independent woman,

All my domesticated independent women- where you at, come on!

What do you make your hubby for lunch???

I’m sure this time of year, you’ll have more than enough left overs floating around!

Hope your having a great day!

xoxo

Amanda! Awesome post! I so hear you on the boyfriend title. 10 years of living together and boyfriend just doesn’t quite communicate our relationship status, haha!

I loved what you’ve said, and I would add, in my case, performing acts of love (making yummy meals) makes me incredibly happy too!

Now, let’s talk about food distribution to outlining areas, I’m sensing a business model here! haha!

    Thanks again!
